EGJJF Open Championship
White belt only 2020
Welcome to the EGJJF Open White Belt Only. A double elimination tournament open to all whitebelts!
European Grappling & Jiu-Jitsu federation is organising her first White Belt Only tournament under the ruleset of the Jiu Jitsu Global Federation. The focus of this tounament lies on getting more experience for the fighters by appliyng a double elimination format. The rules favor the fighter who is eager to submit, a format which proved to be succesfull in the prestigious Rickson Gracie Cup.
The tournament is held in a smaller setting, where fighters, friends an coachs can interact in a way that everybody is comfortable. With a maximum amount of 100 competitors we will guarantee great matches, great chances to win prizes and a great opportunity to learn!

The EGJJF applies the official BJJ rules from the JJGF.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu weightclasses (with Kimono);
MALE: -64 kg, -70 kg, -76 kg, -82.3 kg, -88.3 kg, -94.3 kg, -100.5 kg, +100.5 kg
WOMEN: -48,5 kg, -53,5 kg, -64 kg, -69 kg, -74 kg, + 74 kg
Open Weight:The medal winners of each class can sign-up after their bracket for open weight categorie
Belt Divisions: WHITE BELT ONLY
NOTE: If there are to few participants in a specific weight class, classes will be combined.
